Ms. Llerena
Ms. Andrea Llerena-3rd-grade spanish teacher
My name is Andrea Llerena. I am originally from Perú.
I've been teaching for 18 years. I taught Kindergarten-5th grade. This is my 8th year
at International Charter School of Atlanta. I have been working at ICSAtlanta since it
opened and I feel blessed to be a part of it. I have enjoyed teaching the students as
well as learning from them. I believe every day is a new opportunity to learn and my
main goal is to prepare our students to be successful in the rest of their school
years and to be life-long learners.
I am happily married and I have 3 Kids. Priscila finished her college degree at UNC
Chapel Hill; her major is in Business Administration. Julio, my second son,
graduated from Johns Hopkins University; his major is Molecular Biology and he is
in his fourth year studying Medicine at Northwest University in Chicago.
My youngest son is Neil. He finished his HS in Cambridge and he is going to study
computer science at GSU.
In my free time, I like to travel with my family, play volleyball, dance, and travel.
