Dear ICSAtlanta 3rd-8th Grade Parents,

Our Spring Georgia Milestones Assessment System testing window opens after spring break, and we are making final preparations for a successful testing season. Our testing window begins April 25 and closes on May 13.

The state assessment will be administered to 3rd through 8th grade students. Students in each of these grade levels will take the assessment online.

As always, you can assist your child by ensuring that he or she:

  • gets plenty of rest during the testing weeks.

  • eats a healthy breakfast.

  • is present and punctual each day of testing (we will begin testing promptly at 7:45 AM at the Upper Campus and promptly at 8:15 AM at the Lower Campus).

  • brings a snack and a bottle of water.

  • understands that this test is a positive opportunity to demonstrate what she or he knows.

We appreciate your continued interest in the education of your child(ren) and your support of our school. We are fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring school community of parents, teachers, staff, and students!

Sincerely,

Your 3rd Grade Level Team

Thank You From 3F!

Our Food and Sock Drive was a fantastic success thanks to all of your kind donations. I ended up dropping off 661 pairs of socks and 3 moving boxes full of food today to Atlanta Mission. They were absolutely thrilled to receive the donations!

Our class is organizing a food and sock drive to help the homeless in our community. We will be collecting food items such as canned tomato sauce, pinto beans, brown rice, and canned chicken chunks. We will also be collecting new pairs of socks in all sizes (for children, men, and women). Drop off your kind donations in the boxes in the reception of the Lower Campus from 10/04 through 10/18. Thank you!
