Hello! My name is Peden Two Elk, and I’m excited to begin my first year at ICSAtlanta as the third-grade English teacher for the Mandarin and German track students. While this is my first year at the school, I bring seven years of teaching experience in a variety of educational settings, including public schools, a Waldorf-inspired program, and environmental education for Fulton County students. I’m passionate about helping children grow into curious, confident learners, and I’m thrilled to be joining such a diverse and vibrant community.
Outside the classroom, I love spending time outdoors with my two dogs Kilo and Annie. I also enjoy horseback riding, crocheting, and reading. I lived in Germany for a few years in my early 20s, which deepened my love of travel and cultural exchange. I’m currently pursuing a PhD at Mercer University, and I’m always eager to keep learning, just like my students!
